Rumble Rules – Throwdown Lofts
For us to achieve our goals of being true contenders in rumbles we need to follow some rules.
These should help us to score well and avoid giving away too many points to our opponents.
We expect all players to participate in all rounds of the rumble and will only accept planned absence. This should be notified to the guild leader and/or officers in advance of the round starting. We will keep a record of scores from each round so that we can see who has not participated. Low scores due to difficult opponents are acceptable but we will try to avoid those.
Once the rumble has ended, non participants and those who did not plan absence will be eligible for eviction from the guild unless they have a very good reason. We will however wait until rewards have been claimed post rumble before booting participants who earned rewards.
All players level 12+ should use either Tina or Consuela for attacking. This will help reduce payback and punch damage from affecting your score each fight.
As soon as your 10 battles are played you should switch to a hero with payback, preferably punch too as this will increase chances of opponents not scoring 100 through full health. Once switched immediately play a round of adventure which force your switch to defensive hero in the rumble.
If you are losing health then try to use a healer to bring it back up before the fight ends.
If you are down on health and will win in your next turn, play the highest HP hero you have as it’s the HP lost as a percentage of total cards HP that decides the number of points you lose.
As above we should all be using hero’s with payback and then other valuable defensive traits. The more HP your opponents cards lose, the less points they get.
For Defense, it is also beneficial to switch out low HP cards and replace them with PreCombos and High HP cards. In doing this we aim to have opponents not be able to one shot our cards and get at least 2 on the field increasing our damage to them and reducing their points further. This should be done when you change your hero so that it is immediately effective in your rumble defense.
The AI does not create combos very often at all so do not use cards that make good combos if their initial HP is low as the AI will very rarely ever make that combo.
During the Rumble:
The leadership will be monitoring the team in our guild points screen which shows hero’s and sending a pm to anybody who is not following the above guidance. These changes are necessary to help build a lead over our opponents and a requirement in our sister guilds should any hope to receive a promotion through to higher level guilds.
If a member has not participated and there is less than 1 hour before the current round finishes, the leadership will be in contact through game chat and line to prompt participation.
These rules should be fair and allow for lower level players to continue without the fear that lower scores will get them evicted. All evictions will be discussed by leadership before they take place and are being made for the benefit of the team, not the individual.
Keep farming, and lets rock this rumble.
